Golden Valley is the close-in country option, a semi-rural pocket just over the hill from north Reno where half-acre and full-acre lots, horse corrals, shops and outbuildings sit twenty minutes from downtown. Established ranch homes dominate, joined by newer custom builds on the hillside edges with Peavine Mountain views.

Lending here is acreage lending: conventional for the standard ranches, VA and FHA where the property type cooperates, and HELOCs on decades of built equity.
