I am Art Loera, Branch Manager at PRMG, Reno, Nevada. I entered the world of finance in 1992 and made a deliberate choice in 1999: mortgage lending. Not because it was the easiest path, but because it was the most meaningful. Helping a family cross the threshold of their first home, watching a veteran finally own the land they served to protect, or helping a self-employed entrepreneur build equity instead of rent, these are not transactions to me. They are life moments. That conviction has driven every single closing for the past twenty-five years.
I have lived and worked in Northern Nevada and California for over thirty years. I know this market the way a contractor knows a building, every wall, every load-bearing beam, every hidden crack. I have watched Reno transform from a mid-sized gaming town into one of the fastest-growing metros in the West. I have closed loans through two recessions, a global pandemic, and every interest rate environment imaginable. The market always changes. My commitment to my clients does not.
What I do is not loan processing. It is Strategic Transaction Management. Every file I touch begins with one question: what is the absolute best path to close this loan?
