Anthem climbs the McCullough foothills at Henderson's southern edge: roughly 4,700 acres that Del Webb assembled through a federal land exchange and opened in October 1998, now a family of villages · Anthem Country Club, Anthem Highlands, Madeira Canyon, Coventry, Solera, and the Sun City Anthem community that anchors the western slope. Elevation is the shared amenity; much of Anthem looks down on the entire valley.

The lending menu runs as wide as the villages. Conventional carries the production stock, VA serves a strong veteran presence across the valley's military families, jumbo covers the country-club and larger hillside product, and equity lines fund the upgrades a two-decade-old home has earned.

Henderson itself had been climbing for decades by then · from the Basic Magnesium plant town of 1941 to an incorporated city in 1953 to the master-planned boom that Green Valley started in 1978.
